- Facilitated Procurement Services (PS) transactions valued at USD70m for 2022 and 2023 and raised partners awareness on utilization of PS.This significantly contributed to the timely intercluster activity implementation during the COVID,Cholera and Cyclone Freddy Emergency response and recovery.
- Successfully administered a substantial portfolio valued at $10 million USD, encompassing health, Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and gender initiatives, providing strategic guidance and expedited support to the Ministry of Health, United Nations agencies and partner organizations in negotiating and finalizing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and World Bank agreements.
- Effectively managed the Supply Chain Strengthening Portfolio, rendering specialized technical assistance, advisory services and operational support to augment supply chain resilience and efficiency in health, nutrition and immunization domains.
- Facilitated the successful implementation and rollout of the COVAX initiative, compiling comprehensive weekly situational reports on COVID-19 and supply chain operations.
- Coordinated COVID-19 procurement activities for United Nations agencies and partner organizations via the World Health Organization/United Nations Global Supply Portal, ensuring a harmonized national approach in Malawi.
- Served as the designated Emergency Focal Person, developing and reviewing supply and logistics emergency preparedness strategies and contingency plans.
- Developed and implemented innovative financing solutions to address health supply financing challenges and cash flow timing disparities.
- Contributed to Country Programme strategy planning, providing expert input on supply chain management, procurement and program support components.
- Enhanced collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders through the establishment of effective communication mechanisms and strategic interactions.
- Provided ongoing support to the nutrition supply chain integration activities, end user monitoring of supplies and Immunization Supply chain activities including Polio EOC and Polio campaigns throughout the year.
- Coordinated roll out and adoption of End-user monitoring which strengthened utilization of supplies by affected populations e.g treatment of 157,000 children affected by Severe Acute Malnutrition between 2020-2024.
